Police investigate suspicious fire

On Sunday, February 25, 2024 at 6:36 am, Houston RCMP responded to a residence in Granisle for a report of a fire.

When police arrived, the Granisle Volunteer Fire Dept was on scene and the residence on Fulton Street was fully engulfed. The resident of the home was able to get his dog out. Neither were injured.

While the cause of the fire is currently subject to an ongoing investigation, it is believed that the fire is suspicious. There are no further details available at this time.
