Police in Surrey are requesting the public’s assistance in an arson investigation that occurred in June 2024.
On June 29, 2024, at 3:00 a.m., officers responded to a residential fire in the 14000-block area of Grosvenor Road. The occupants of the home made it our safely; but sadly one of family pets did not make it out and perished in the fire. The residence sustained substantial damage to the roof as a result.
Investigators conducted neighbourhood inquiries and an extensive CCTV canvass of the area determined that two unknown suspects were around the property, who allegedly set fire to a pile of belongings which caused the house to catch fire.
Suspect descriptions:
Suspect 1: medium build and wore a dark colour hoodie, dark pants and dark shoes.
Suspect 2: heavy build and wore a dark colour hoodie, dark pants and dark shoes; suspect was riding a BMX style bicycle.
We are releasing a photo/video of the suspects in order to advance the investigation.
