Prince George RCMP and the Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation are pleased to announce that this year’s total fundraising amount from the Community Heroes Night Mega 50/50 draw was certainly a big one!
In total, $60,000 was raised through the charitable donations of Prince George citizens – we’re simply amazed at the generosity of those who donated,
states Corporal Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.
The total amount will be split between three organizations: The Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation, Prince George RCMP and the Prince George Firefighters Charitable Society.
Prince George RCMP will be partnering with The Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation to help fund a piece of equipment that has been identified by the Foundation as a need here in Prince George. We are happy to keep this money in Prince George and return it back to the community that so generously donated it to us in the first place,
states Superintendent Darin Rappel of the Prince George RCMP.
We are incredibly grateful to the Prince George RCMP for their dedication and helping support crucial medical equipment for UHNBC—strengthening care for our entire community. A huge thank you to the teams who worked tirelessly behind the scenes and to our community, who continue to step up year after year to support Community Heroes Weekend. Your commitment makes a real difference, and we are so appreciative.
Aimee Cassie, CEO, Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation
