RCMP investigating church arson

On July 4, 2021 at 2:25 a.m., the Prince George RCMP received a call for assistance from Prince George Fire Services at a church on the 3500 block of 5th Avenue. Fire crews were at that location for a small fire on the outside if the building.

A fire investigator from the Prince George RCMP attended the location and determined that the fire was the result of arson, states Cst. Jennifer Cooper of the Prince George RCMP. At this time investigators are requesting that anyone with information about this event or who may have dash cam footage or surveillance from that neighbourhood between the hours of 1:45 a.m. and 2:25 a.m. please contact police with the information.
