RCMP investigating shooting incident

Just before midnight on August 14, 2021, the Prince George RCMP received a report of gunshots at a residence on the 2100 block of Redwood Street.

Frontline members quickly responded to the complaint and found a basement suite with several people inside reacting to an exposure to bear spray. Investigators also found evidence of multiple shots fired at the residence.

We are currently looking for anyone in the area who witnessed the incident whom investigators have not yet spoken to. Also, if anyone in the area has surveillance or dash cam footage that shows the suspects arriving or leaving the house or shows the vehicle the suspects left in, believed to be a white or silver 4-door SUV, please contact police by calling 250-561-3300 with that information, states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper of the Prince George RCMP.

No one was injured in the incident. This investigation is ongoing.
