Prolific property crime suspect arrested

On April 5, 2022, shortly after 11:00 a.m., Prince George RCMP responded to a report of a theft from a restaurant on the 1200-block of 3rd Avenue. The victim stated their jacket, containing a set of keys, a wallet and some ID, was stolen from that location. After viewing video surveillance from the area, police were able to identify the male suspect, as they are familiar him for similar behaviour and know him to frequent the downtown area.

Within three hours of the report, police located 25-year-old Prince George resident, Troy Felix. Investigators arrested Mr. Felix and subsequently located the stolen items in one of the bags he was carrying. Police also noted Mr. Felix was breaching several court-ordered conditions, states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper of the Prince George RCMP.

The B.C. Prosecution Service approved the following charges against Mr. Felix:

Mr. Felix will remain in custody until his next court appearance. This file remains under investigation.
