Police investigating weekend shooting

 On June 12, 2022, shortly after 4:00p.m., Prince George RCMP were called to a residence on the 2100-block of Shady Lane for a report of shots fired.

When Frontline police officers arrived at the location they located evidence of several shots striking the home. Extensive video canvassing of the neighbourhood was done to obtain any information leading up to or following the incident.

Police are looking to speak to the owner of a red Dodge Avenger that is seen driving past the residence at the time of the shooting. We are asking that anyone who knows who this vehicle belongs to or is regularly driven by, please contact investigators by calling the non-emergency line at 250-561-3300, states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations officer for the Prince George RCMP.

The home and its residents are not known to police and investigators are working diligently to identify a suspect in this matter. No one was injured in the incident.
