The countdown is on for this year’s Cops for Cancer Tour de North!

In just over two weeks the Cops for Cancer Tour de North kicks off their 850km ride from Dawson Creek to Williams Lake. Prince George RCMP and North District RCMP 911 Dispatch Centre are proud to have two riders on this year’s tour.

Representing Prince George, Constable Rob Warren and 911 Dispatcher Stacey Osiowy will be joined by B.C. Sherriff’s Service Superintendent Peter Wharton when the ride kicks off on September 14 in Dawson Creek. The tour will travel south from Dawson Creek through Prince George on September 19 and from there on to their end point in Williams Lake.

This is Tour de North’s 21st year supporting Cops for Cancer. To date, hundreds of law enforcement and emergency services personnel have raised millions of dollars through Cops for Cancer head-shave, cycling and golf events. It is the largest national charitable funder of childhood cancer research in Canada.
