File # 2022-36679

On Sunday, October 9, 2022, just before 7:00 a.m., Prince George RCMP responded to an alarm at a retail business on the 5200-block of Domano Boulevard. When Frontline Police Officers arrived at the location, they saw a broken window and signs of a disturbance inside the building.

Frontline Police Officers were joined by Police Service Dog Natz, who successfully located a suspect hiding in the bushes a short distance away. The suspect was arrested for break-and-enter and was released on an Undertaking with a future court date. Our quick police response and coordinated, multi-unit effort enabled us to locate a suspect in this incident less than 40 minutes after receiving the initial report, states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.
