Cram-A-Cruiser, December 10, 2022 9-5 3 Save On Foods locations: College Heights, Spruceland, The Hart

On Saturday, December 10, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Prince George RCMP officers and volunteers will be outside three different Save-On-Foods locations throughout Prince George. Residents are encouraged to grab an extra item or two on their way through the shopping centre to donate on their way back out. The items are then crammed into a cruiser (police car).

We will fill a police vehicle with food as many times as we can during the eight-hour period. All donations will be provided to the Prince George Salvation Army just in time for Christmas. The Salvation Army has been generous in assisting our Victim Services program over the years and this is our way of helping to give back, states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.

This event is also a great way for members of the public to get to know some of our community policing officers.

The three Save-On-Foods locations are:

We will be accepting non-perishable food items, cash and gift cards.
