RCMP investigating home invasion

On Monday, June 19, 2023, shortly after 8:00 p.m., Prince George RCMP responded to a report of a home invasion at a residence on the 300-block of Nicholson Street.

When police officers arrived at the location, they located a man inside the home suffering from life-threatening injuries. A woman was also located with severe, but non-life-threatening injuries. Both victims were taken to the hospital by Emergency Health Services, states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.

The investigation has been taken over by the Prince George RCMP’s Serious Crime Unit. Investigators with that unit are requesting that anyone who has surveillance or dash cam footage from that neighbourhood between 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., which shows persons or vehicles coming and going from the area, contact an investigator by calling 250-561-3300.
