The Merritt RCMP are looking to identify the rightful owner of some found money.

On December 29th a good Samaritan attended the Merritt RCMP detachment and turned in some money they had found while hiking in the Merritt area.  The Merritt detachment would like to reunite the rightful owner with their missing funds.  We are not releasing the amount or the location the money was found.  

If you believe this is your money, please call the Merritt RCMP at 250-378-4262. The rightful owner will need to be able to identify the location where the funds were lost and the dollar figure.
